	UCSB Chemical Engineering Faculty Position

	Areas of Research in Chemical Engineering

	Process Control Thermo-Fluid Science and Safety Reaction Engineering, Catalysis and Surface Science Structural Materials Bioengineering Polymers Thin Films, Membranes, and Microstructural Fluids Fluid Mechanics and Transport Processes Computational Engineering

	Applications are invited for temporary research positions for the academic year 2004-2005 in the above-mentioned areas. Candidates should have an outstanding research record or potential. Postdoctoral Researchers must have a Ph.D. A Ph.D. is preferred for other positions such as Visiting Research Engineers as well. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Appointments shall be for one year with the possibility of reappointment on an annual basis in accordance with the applicable personnel policies and availability of funds.
